CVE-2011-2767 |
mod_perl 2.0 through 2.0.10 allows attackers to execute arbitrary Perl code by placing it in a user-owned .htaccess file, because (contrary to the documentation) there is no configuration option that permits Perl code for the administrator's control of HTTP request processing without also permitting unprivileged users to run Perl code in the context of the user account that runs Apache HTTP Server processes. V3.0: 9.8 CRITICAL V2.0: 10.0 HIGH |
CVE-2018-3760 |
There is an information leak vulnerability in Sprockets. Versions Affected: 4.0.0.beta7 and lower, 3.7.1 and lower, 2.12.4 and lower. Specially crafted requests can be used to access files that exists on the filesystem that is outside an application's root directory, when the Sprockets server is used in production. All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the work arounds immediately. Published: June 26, 2018; 3:29:00 PM -0400 |
V3.0: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2018-8778 |
In Ruby before 2.2.10, 2.3.x before 2.3.7, 2.4.x before 2.4.4, 2.5.x before 2.5.1, and 2.6.0-preview1, an attacker controlling the unpacking format (similar to format string vulnerabilities) can trigger a buffer under-read in the String#unpack method, resulting in a massive and controlled information disclosure. V3.0: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2018-8777 |
In Ruby before 2.2.10, 2.3.x before 2.3.7, 2.4.x before 2.4.4, 2.5.x before 2.5.1, and 2.6.0-preview1, an attacker can pass a large HTTP request with a crafted header to WEBrick server or a crafted body to WEBrick server/handler and cause a denial of service (memory consumption). V3.0: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2018-6914 |
Directory traversal vulnerability in the Dir.mktmpdir method in the tmpdir library in Ruby before 2.2.10, 2.3.x before 2.3.7, 2.4.x before 2.4.4, 2.5.x before 2.5.1, and 2.6.0-preview1 might allow attackers to create arbitrary directories or files via a .. (dot dot) in the prefix argument. Published: April 03, 2018; 6:29:00 PM -0400 |
V3.0: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2018-1301 |
A specially crafted request could have crashed the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30, due to an out of bound access after a size limit is reached by reading the HTTP header. This vulnerability is considered very hard if not impossible to trigger in non-debug mode (both log and build level), so it is classified as low risk for common server usage. V3.0: 5.9 MEDIUM V2.0: 4.3 MEDIUM |
CVE-2018-1283 |
In Apache httpd 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, when mod_session is configured to forward its session data to CGI applications (SessionEnv on, not the default), a remote user may influence their content by using a "Session" header. This comes from the "HTTP_SESSION" variable name used by mod_session to forward its data to CGIs, since the prefix "HTTP_" is also used by the Apache HTTP Server to pass HTTP header fields, per CGI specifications. V3.0: 5.3 MEDIUM V2.0: 3.5 LOW |
CVE-2017-15715 |
In Apache httpd 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, the expression specified in <FilesMatch> could match '$' to a newline character in a malicious filename, rather than matching only the end of the filename. This could be exploited in environments where uploads of some files are are externally blocked, but only by matching the trailing portion of the filename. V3.0: 8.1 HIGH V2.0: 6.8 MEDIUM |
CVE-2017-15710 |
In Apache httpd 2.0.23 to 2.0.65, 2.2.0 to 2.2.34, and 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, mod_authnz_ldap, if configured with AuthLDAPCharsetConfig, uses the Accept-Language header value to lookup the right charset encoding when verifying the user's credentials. If the header value is not present in the charset conversion table, a fallback mechanism is used to truncate it to a two characters value to allow a quick retry (for example, 'en-US' is truncated to 'en'). A header value of less than two characters forces an out of bound write of one NUL byte to a memory location that is not part of the string. In the worst case, quite unlikely, the process would crash which could be used as a Denial of Service attack. In the more likely case, this memory is already reserved for future use and the issue has no effect at all. Published: March 26, 2018; 11:29:00 AM -0400 |
V3.0: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2017-5645 |
In Apache Log4j 2.x before 2.8.2, when using the TCP socket server or UDP socket server to receive serialized log events from another application, a specially crafted binary payload can be sent that, when deserialized, can execute arbitrary code. Published: April 17, 2017; 5:59:00 PM -0400 |
V3.1: 9.8 CRITICAL V2.0: 7.5 HIGH |
CVE-2016-9675 |
openjpeg: A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the patch for CVE-2013-6045. A crafted j2k image could cause the application to crash, or potentially execute arbitrary code. Published: December 22, 2016; 4:59:00 PM -0500 |
