On versions 15.1.0-15.1.0.1, 15.0.0-15.0.1.1, and 14.1.0-14.1.2.3, Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) may restart on BIG-IP Virtual Edition (VE) while processing unusual IP traffic. Published: April 30, 2020; 5:15:16 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2020-5877 |
On BIG-IP 15.0.0-15.1.0.1, 14.1.0-14.1.2.3, 13.1.0-13.1.3.3, 12.1.0-12.1.5.1, and 11.6.1-11.6.5.1, malformed input to the DATAGRAM::tcp iRules command within a FLOW_INIT event may lead to a denial of service. Published: April 30, 2020; 5:15:16 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2020-5876 |
On BIG-IP 15.0.0-15.0.1.3, 14.1.0-14.1.2.3, 13.1.0-13.1.3.3, 12.1.0-12.1.5.1, and 11.6.1-11.6.5.1, a race condition exists where mcpd and other processes may make unencrypted connection attempts to a new configuration sync peer. The race condition can occur when changing the ConfigSync IP address of a peer, adding a new peer, or when the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) first starts up. V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 8.1 HIGH V2.0: 6.8 MEDIUM |
CVE-2020-5862 |
On BIG-IP 15.1.0-15.1.0.1, 15.0.0-15.0.1.1, and 14.1.0-14.1.2.2, under certain conditions, TMM may crash or stop processing new traffic with the DPDK/ENA driver on AWS systems while sending traffic. This issue does not affect any other platforms, hardware or virtual, or any other cloud provider since the affected driver is specific to AWS. Published: March 27, 2020; 11:15:12 AM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2020-5860 |
On BIG-IP 15.0.0-15.1.0.2, 14.1.0-14.1.2.3, 13.1.0-13.1.3.2, 12.1.0-12.1.5.1, and 11.5.2-11.6.5.1 and BIG-IQ 7.0.0, 6.0.0-6.1.0, and 5.2.0-5.4.0, in a High Availability (HA) network failover in Device Service Cluster (DSC), the failover service does not require a strong form of authentication and HA network failover traffic is not encrypted by Transport Layer Security (TLS). Published: March 27, 2020; 11:15:12 AM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 8.1 HIGH V2.0: 6.8 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-19151 |
On BIG-IP versions 15.0.0-15.1.0, 14.0.0-14.1.2.3, 13.1.0-13.1.3.2, 12.1.0-12.1.5, and 11.5.2-11.6.5.1, BIG-IQ versions 7.0.0, 6.0.0-6.1.0, and 5.0.0-5.4.0, iWorkflow version 2.3.0, and Enterprise Manager version 3.1.1, authenticated users granted TMOS Shell (tmsh) privileges are able access objects on the file system which would normally be disallowed by tmsh restrictions. This allows for authenticated, low privileged attackers to access objects on the file system which would not normally be allowed. Published: December 23, 2019; 2:15:11 PM -0500 |

CVE-2019-10744 |
Versions of lodash lower than 4.17.12 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution. The function defaultsDeep could be tricked into adding or modifying properties of Object.prototype using a constructor payload. Published: July 25, 2019; 8:15:11 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 9.1 CRITICAL V2.0: 6.4 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-12295 |
In Wireshark 3.0.0 to 3.0.1, 2.6.0 to 2.6.8, and 2.4.0 to 2.4.14, the dissection engine could crash. This was addressed in epan/packet.c by restricting the number of layers and consequently limiting recursion. Published: May 23, 2019; 8:29:00 AM -0400 |

CVE-2019-1559 |
If an application encounters a fatal protocol error and then calls SSL_shutdown() twice (once to send a close_notify, and once to receive one) then OpenSSL can respond differently to the calling application if a 0 byte record is received with invalid padding compared to if a 0 byte record is received with an invalid MAC. If the application then behaves differently based on that in a way that is detectable to the remote peer, then this amounts to a padding oracle that could be used to decrypt data. In order for this to be exploitable "non-stitched" ciphersuites must be in use. Stitched ciphersuites are optimised implementations of certain commonly used ciphersuites. Also the application must call SSL_shutdown() twice even if a protocol error has occurred (applications should not do this but some do anyway). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2r (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2q). CVE-2018-13405 |
The inode_init_owner function in fs/inode.c in the Linux kernel through 3.16 allows local users to create files with an unintended group ownership, in a scenario where a directory is SGID to a certain group and is writable by a user who is not a member of that group. Here, the non-member can trigger creation of a plain file whose group ownership is that group. The intended behavior was that the non-member can trigger creation of a directory (but not a plain file) whose group ownership is that group. The non-member can escalate privileges by making the plain file executable and SGID. Published: July 06, 2018; 10:29:01 AM -0400 |
