| CVE-2018-9363 |
In the hidp_process_report in bluetooth, there is an integer overflow. This could lead to an out of bounds write with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Product: Android Versions: Android kernel Android ID: A-65853588 References: Upstream kernel. Published: November 06, 2018; 12:29:00 PM -0500 |
V3.0: 8.4 HIGH V2.0: 7.2 HIGH |
| CVE-2018-16847 |
An OOB heap buffer r/w access issue was found in the NVM Express Controller emulation in QEMU. It could occur in nvme_cmb_ops routines in nvme device. A guest user/process could use this flaw to crash the QEMU process resulting in DoS or potentially run arbitrary code with privileges of the QEMU process. | CVE-2018-16842 |
Curl versions 7.14.1 through 7.61.1 are vulnerable to a heap-based buffer over-read in the tool_msgs.c:voutf() function that may result in information exposure and denial of service. Published: October 31, 2018; 3:29:00 PM -0400 |
V3.0: 9.1 CRITICAL V2.0: 6.4 MEDIUM |
| CVE-2018-16840 |
A heap use-after-free flaw was found in curl versions from 7.59.0 through 7.61.1 in the code related to closing an easy handle. When closing and cleaning up an 'easy' handle in the `Curl_close()` function, the library code first frees a struct (without nulling the pointer) and might then subsequently erroneously write to a struct field within that already freed struct. V3.0: 9.8 CRITICAL V2.0: 7.5 HIGH |
| CVE-2018-16839 |
Curl versions 7.33.0 through 7.61.1 are vulnerable to a buffer overrun in the SASL authentication code that may lead to denial of service. Published: October 31, 2018; 2:29:00 PM -0400 |
V3.0: 9.8 CRITICAL V2.0: 7.5 HIGH |
| CVE-2018-18281 |
Since Linux kernel version 3.2, the mremap() syscall performs TLB flushes after dropping pagetable locks. If a syscall such as ftruncate() removes entries from the pagetables of a task that is in the middle of mremap(), a stale TLB entry can remain for a short time that permits access to a physical page after it has been released back to the page allocator and reused. This is fixed in the following kernel versions: 4.9.135, 4.14.78, 4.18.16, 4.19. Published: October 30, 2018; 2:29:00 PM -0400 |

| CVE-2018-0734 |
The OpenSSL DSA signature algorithm has been shown to be vulnerable to a timing side channel attack. An attacker could use variations in the signing algorithm to recover the private key. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1a (Affected 1.1.1). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.0j (Affected 1.1.0-1.1.0i). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2q (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2p). Published: October 30, 2018; 8:29:00 AM -0400 |

| CVE-2018-0735 |
The OpenSSL ECDSA signature algorithm has been shown to be vulnerable to a timing side channel attack. An attacker could use variations in the signing algorithm to recover the private key. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.0j (Affected 1.1.0-1.1.0i). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1a (Affected 1.1.1). Published: October 29, 2018; 9:29:00 AM -0400 |

| CVE-2018-18751 |
An issue was discovered in GNU gettext 0.19.8. There is a double free in default_add_message in read-catalog.c, related to an invalid free in po_gram_parse in po-gram-gen.y, as demonstrated by lt-msgfmt. Published: October 29, 2018; 8:29:09 AM -0400 |
V3.0: 9.8 CRITICAL V2.0: 7.5 HIGH |
| CVE-2018-18710 |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 4.19. An information leak in cdrom_ioctl_select_disc in drivers/cdrom/cdrom.c could be used by local attackers to read kernel memory because a cast from unsigned long to int interferes with bounds checking. This is similar to CVE-2018-10940 and CVE-2018-16658. Published: October 29, 2018; 8:29:05 AM -0400 |
V3.0: 5.5 MEDIUM V2.0: 2.1 LOW |
| CVE-2018-18690 |
In the Linux kernel before 4.17, a local attacker able to set attributes on an xfs filesystem could make this filesystem non-operational until the next mount by triggering an unchecked error condition during an xfs attribute change, because xfs_attr_shortform_addname in fs/xfs/libxfs/xfs_attr.c mishandles ATTR_REPLACE operations with conversion of an attr from short to long form. V3.0: 5.5 MEDIUM V2.0: 4.9 MEDIUM |
| CVE-2018-6559 |
The Linux kernel, as used in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and Ubuntu 18.10, allows local users to obtain names of files in which they would not normally be able to access via an overlayfs mount inside of a user namespace. Published: October 26, 2018; 1:29:00 PM -0400 |

| CVE-2018-15686 |
A vulnerability in unit_deserialize of systemd allows an attacker to supply arbitrary state across systemd re-execution via NotifyAccess. This can be used to improperly influence systemd execution and possibly lead to root privilege escalation. Affected releases are systemd versions up to and including 239.
