An exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel prior to mainline 5.3. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by triggering AP to send IAPP location updates for stations before the required authentication process has completed. This could lead to different denial-of-service scenarios, either by causing CAM table attacks, or by leading to traffic flapping if faking already existing clients in other nearby APs of the same wireless infrastructure. An attacker can forge Authentication and Association Request packets to trigger this vulnerability.

An attack does not affect the stability of the kernel; it only causes mismanagement of application execution.)

Included in Log4j 1.2 is a SocketServer class that is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted data which can be exploited to remotely execute arbitrary code when combined with a deserialization gadget when listening to untrusted network traffic for log data. A suitably crafted email address (that is equal to an existing user's email address after case transformation of Unicode characters) would allow an attacker to be sent a password reset token for the matched user account. An issue was discovered in Cyrus IMAP before 2.5.15, 3.0.x before 3.0.13, and 3.1.x through 3.1.8. If sieve script uploading is allowed (3.x) or certain non-default sieve options are enabled (2.x), a user with a mail account on the service can use a sieve script containing a fileinto directive to create any mailbox with administrator privileges, because of folder mishandling in autosieve_createfolder() in imap/lmtp_sieve.c.
