Description
D-Link D-View uploadMib Directory Traversal Arbitrary File Creation or Deletion Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to create and delete arbitrary files on affected installations of D-Link D-View. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the uploadMib function. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to create or delete files in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-19529.
