CVE-2022-1278 |
A flaw was found in WildFly, where an attacker can see deployment names, endpoints, and any other data the trace payload may contain. Published: September 13, 2022; 10:15:08 AM -0400 |

CVE-2022-0866 |
This is a concurrency issue that can result in the wrong caller principal being returned from the session context of an EJB that is configured with a RunAs principal. In particular, the org.jboss.as.ejb3.component.EJBComponent class has an incomingRunAsIdentity field. This field is used by the org.jboss.as.ejb3.security.RunAsPrincipalInterceptor to keep track of the current identity prior to switching to a new identity created using the RunAs principal. The exploit consist that the EJBComponent#incomingRunAsIdentity field is currently just a SecurityIdentity. This means in a concurrent environment, where multiple users are repeatedly invoking an EJB that is configured with a RunAs principal, it's possible for the wrong the caller principal to be returned from EJBComponent#getCallerPrincipal. Similarly, it's also possible for EJBComponent#isCallerInRole to return the wrong value. Both of these methods rely on incomingRunAsIdentity. Affects all versions of JBoss EAP from 7.1.0 and all versions of WildFly 11+ when Elytron is enabled. Published: May 10, 2022; 5:15:08 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 5.3 MEDIUM V2.0: 4.3 MEDIUM |
CVE-2021-3503 |
A flaw was found in Wildfly where insufficient RBAC restrictions may lead to expose metrics data. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to the confidentiality. Published: April 18, 2022; 1:15:15 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 4.3 MEDIUM V2.0: 4.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2020-1719 |
A flaw was found in wildfly. The EJBContext principle is not popped back after invoking another EJB using a different Security Domain. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity. Versions before wildfly 20.0.0.Final are affected. Published: June 07, 2021; 1:15:07 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 5.4 MEDIUM V2.0: 5.5 MEDIUM |
CVE-2021-3536 |
A flaw was found in Wildfly in versions before 23.0.2.Final while creating a new role in domain mode via the admin console, it is possible to add a payload in the name field, leading to XSS. This affects Confidentiality and Integrity. Published: May 20, 2021; 9:15:07 AM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 4.8 MEDIUM V2.0: 3.5 LOW |
CVE-2020-25640 |
A flaw was discovered in WildFly before 21.0.0.Final where, Resource adapter logs plain text JMS password at warning level on connection error, inserting sensitive information in the log file. Published: November 24, 2020; 2:15:10 PM -0500 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 5.3 MEDIUM V2.0: 3.5 LOW |
CVE-2020-25689 |
A memory leak flaw was found in WildFly in all versions up to 21.0.0.Final, where host-controller tries to reconnect in a loop, generating new connections which are not properly closed while not able to connect to domain-controller. This flaw allows an attacker to cause an Out of memory (OOM) issue, leading to a denial of service. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. Published: November 02, 2020; 4:15:27 PM -0500 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 6.5 MEDIUM V2.0: 6.8 MEDIUM |
CVE-2020-10740 |
A vulnerability was found in Wildfly in versions before 20.0.0.Final, where a remote deserialization attack is possible in the Enterprise Application Beans(EJB) due to lack of validation/filtering capabilities in wildfly. Published: June 22, 2020; 2:15:11 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 6.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-3894 |
It was discovered that the ElytronManagedThread in Wildfly's Elytron subsystem in versions from 11 to 16 stores a SecurityIdentity to run the thread as. These threads do not necessarily terminate if the keep alive time has not expired. This could allow a shared thread to use the wrong security identity when executing. Published: May 03, 2019; 4:29:01 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 8.8 HIGH V2.0: 6.5 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-3805 |
A flaw was discovered in wildfly versions up to 16.0.0.Final that would allow local users who are able to execute init.d script to terminate arbitrary processes on the system. An attacker could exploit this by modifying the PID file in /var/run/jboss-eap/ allowing the init.d script to terminate any process as root. Published: May 03, 2019; 4:29:01 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 4.7 MEDIUM V2.0: 4.7 MEDIUM |
CVE-2018-14627 |
The IIOP OpenJDK Subsystem in WildFly before version 14.0.0 does not honour configuration when SSL transport is required. Servers before this version that are configured with the following setting allow clients to create plaintext connections: <transport-config confidentiality="required" trust-in-target="supported"/> Published: September 04, 2018; 8:29:00 AM -0400 |
