In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: fix slab-out-of-bounds Read in dtSearch Currently while searching for current page in the sorted entry table of the page there is a out of bound access. Added a bound check to fix the error. Dave: Set return code to -EIO

A stack exhaustion vulnerability in the search function of dtSearch 7.90.8538.1 and prior allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service condition by sending a specially crafted HTTP request.

NOTE: it is unclear whether this is the same vulnerability as CVE-2004-0575, although the data manipulations are the same.

Buffer overflow in CDE libDtHelp library allows local users to execute arbitrary code via (1) a modified DTHELPUSERSEARCHPATH environment variable and the Help feature, (2) DTSEARCHPATH, or (3) LOGNAME.
