CVE-2019-14271 |
In Docker 19.03.x before 19.03.1 linked against the GNU C Library (aka glibc), code injection can occur when the nsswitch facility dynamically loads a library inside a chroot that contains the contents of the container. Published: July 29, 2019; 2:15:11 PM -0400 |
V3.1: 9.8 CRITICAL V2.0: 7.5 HIGH |
CVE-2019-13565 |
An issue was discovered in OpenLDAP 2.x before 2.4.48. When using SASL authentication and session encryption, and relying on the SASL security layers in slapd access controls, it is possible to obtain access that would otherwise be denied via a simple bind for any identity covered in those ACLs. After the first SASL bind is completed, the sasl_ssf value is retained for all new non-SASL connections. Depending on the ACL configuration, this can affect different types of operations (searches, modifications, etc.). In other words, a successful authorization step completed by one user affects the authorization requirement for a different user. Published: July 26, 2019; 9:15:12 AM -0400 |
V3.1: 7.5 HIGH V2.0: 5.0 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-13057 |
An issue was discovered in the server in OpenLDAP before 2.4.48. When the server administrator delegates rootDN (database admin) privileges for certain databases but wants to maintain isolation (e.g., for multi-tenant deployments), slapd does not properly stop a rootDN from requesting authorization as an identity from another database during a SASL bind or with a proxyAuthz (RFC 4370) control. (It is not a common configuration to deploy a system where the server administrator and a DB administrator enjoy different levels of trust.) Published: July 26, 2019; 9:15:12 AM -0400 |
V3.1: 4.9 MEDIUM V2.0: 3.5 LOW |
CVE-2018-20855 |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 4.18.7. In create_qp_common in drivers/infiniband/hw/mlx5/qp.c, mlx5_ib_create_qp_resp was never initialized, resulting in a leak of stack memory to userspace. Published: July 26, 2019; 1:15:10 AM -0400 |
V3.1: 3.3 LOW V2.0: 2.1 LOW |

CVE-2019-14250 |
An issue was discovered in GNU libiberty, as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.32. simple_object_elf_match in simple-object-elf.c does not check for a zero shstrndx value, leading to an integer overflow and resultant heap-based buffer overflow. Published: July 24, 2019; 12:15:12 AM -0400 |
