CVE-2019-3843 |
It was discovered that a systemd service that uses DynamicUser property can create a SUID/SGID binary that would be allowed to run as the transient service UID/GID even after the service is terminated. A local attacker may use this flaw to access resources that will be owned by a potentially different service in the future, when the UID/GID will be recycled. Published: April 26, 2019; 5:29:00 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.8 HIGH V2.0: 4.6 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-3900 |
An infinite loop issue was found in the vhost_net kernel module in Linux Kernel up to and including v5.1-rc6, while handling incoming packets in handle_rx(). It could occur if one end sends packets faster than the other end can process them. A guest user, maybe remote one, could use this flaw to stall the vhost_net kernel thread, resulting in a DoS scenario. Published: April 25, 2019; 11:29:00 AM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.7 HIGH V2.0: 6.8 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-3882 |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's vfio interface implementation that permits violation of the user's locked memory limit. If a device is bound to a vfio driver, such as vfio-pci, and the local attacker is administratively granted ownership of the device, it may cause a system memory exhaustion and thus a denial of service (DoS). Versions 3.10, 4.14 and 4.18 are vulnerable. Published: April 24, 2019; 12:29:02 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 5.5 MEDIUM V2.0: 4.9 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-11486 |
The Siemens R3964 line discipline driver in drivers/tty/n_r3964.c in the Linux kernel before 5.0.8 has multiple race conditions. Published: April 23, 2019; 6:29:05 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.0 HIGH V2.0: 6.9 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-3901 |
A race condition in perf_event_open() allows local attackers to leak sensitive data from setuid programs. As no relevant locks (in particular the cred_guard_mutex) are held during the ptrace_may_access() call, it is possible for the specified target task to perform an execve() syscall with setuid execution before perf_event_alloc() actually attaches to it, allowing an attacker to bypass the ptrace_may_access() check and the perf_event_exit_task(current) call that is performed in install_exec_creds() during privileged execve() calls. This issue affects kernel versions before 4.8. Published: April 22, 2019; 12:29:01 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 4.7 MEDIUM V2.0: 1.9 LOW |
CVE-2019-11068 |
libxslt through 1.1.33 allows bypass of a protection mechanism because callers of xsltCheckRead and xsltCheckWrite permit access even upon receiving a -1 error code. xsltCheckRead can return -1 for a crafted URL that is not actually invalid and is subsequently loaded. Published: April 10, 2019; 4:29:01 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 9.8 CRITICAL V2.0: 7.5 HIGH |
CVE-2019-10125 |
An issue was discovered in aio_poll() in fs/aio.c in the Linux kernel through 5.0.4. A file may be released by aio_poll_wake() if an expected event is triggered immediately (e.g., by the close of a pair of pipes) after the return of vfs_poll(), and this will cause a use-after-free. Published: March 27, 2019; 2:29:00 AM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 9.8 CRITICAL V2.0: 10.0 HIGH |
CVE-2019-3874 |
The SCTP socket buffer used by a userspace application is not accounted by the cgroups subsystem. An attacker can use this flaw to cause a denial of service attack. Kernel 3.10.x and 4.18.x branches are believed to be vulnerable. Published: March 25, 2019; 3:29:01 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 6.5 MEDIUM V2.0: 3.3 LOW |
CVE-2019-9924 |
rbash in Bash before 4.4-beta2 did not prevent the shell user from modifying BASH_CMDS, thus allowing the user to execute any command with the permissions of the shell. Published: March 22, 2019; 4:29:00 AM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.8 HIGH V2.0: 7.2 HIGH |
CVE-2018-20669 |
An issue where a provided address with access_ok() is not checked was discovered in i915_gem_execbuffer2_ioctl in drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915_gem_execbuffer.c in the Linux kernel through 4.19.13. A local attacker can craft a malicious IOCTL function call to overwrite arbitrary kernel memory, resulting in a Denial of Service or privilege escalation. Published: March 21, 2019; 12:00:37 PM -0400 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 7.8 HIGH V2.0: 7.2 HIGH |
CVE-2019-1559 |
If an application encounters a fatal protocol error and then calls SSL_shutdown() twice (once to send a close_notify, and once to receive one) then OpenSSL can respond differently to the calling application if a 0 byte record is received with invalid padding compared to if a 0 byte record is received with an invalid MAC. If the application then behaves differently based on that in a way that is detectable to the remote peer, then this amounts to a padding oracle that could be used to decrypt data. In order for this to be exploitable "non-stitched" ciphersuites must be in use. Stitched ciphersuites are optimised implementations of certain commonly used ciphersuites. Also the application must call SSL_shutdown() twice even if a protocol error has occurred (applications should not do this but some do anyway). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2r (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2q). V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 5.9 MEDIUM V2.0: 4.3 MEDIUM |
CVE-2019-9162 |
In the Linux kernel before 4.20.12, net/ipv4/netfilter/nf_nat_snmp_basic_main.c in the SNMP NAT module has insufficient ASN.1 length checks (aka an array index error), making out-of-bounds read and write operations possible, leading to an OOPS or local privilege escalation. This affects snmp_version and snmp_helper. Published: February 25, 2019; 6:29:01 PM -0500 |

CVE-2019-9003 |
In the Linux kernel before 4.20.5, attackers can trigger a drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_msghandler.c use-after-free and OOPS by arranging for certain simultaneous execution of the code, as demonstrated by a "service ipmievd restart" loop. Published: February 22, 2019; 10:29:00 AM -0500 |

CVE-2019-5736 |
runc through 1.0-rc6, as used in Docker before 18.09.2 and other products, allows attackers to overwrite the host runc binary (and consequently obtain host root access) by leveraging the ability to execute a command as root within one of these types of containers: (1) a new container with an attacker-controlled image, or (2) an existing container, to which the attacker previously had write access, that can be attached with docker exec. This occurs because of file-descriptor mishandling, related to /proc/self/exe. Published: February 11, 2019; 2:29:00 PM -0500 |
V4.0:(not available) V3.1: 8.6 HIGH V2.0: 9.3 HIGH |
CVE-2017-7658 |
In Eclipse Jetty Server, versions 9.2.x and older, 9.3.x (all non HTTP/1.x configurations), and 9.4.x (all HTTP/1.x configurations), when presented with two content-lengths headers, Jetty ignored the second. When presented with a content-length and a chunked encoding header, the content-length was ignored (as per RFC 2616). If an intermediary decided on the shorter length, but still passed on the longer body, then body content could be interpreted by Jetty as a pipelined request. If the intermediary was imposing authorization, the fake pipelined request would bypass that authorization. Published: June 26, 2018; 1:29:00 PM -0400 |
